Having developed a number of production facilities
and currently providing services to a
variety of studio projects, with numerous
contacts throughout the film industry, both within the United Kingdom, United States
and Europe, Studio Consulting is ideally suited to provide a
strategic overview for the development and operation of new and existing
facilities.
Daniel Dark, Chairman of Studio Consulting was
appointed Studio Manager at
Leavesden Studios in 1994. Initially responsible for the
conversion of this former 300 acre Aircraft Factory for the James Bond
movie GoldenEye, creating 10 stages with all the ancillary
production requirements necessary for a major motion picture. He and his team
subsequently established
Leavesden Studios as Britain's newest and largest Film Studios and
have been responsible for securing blockbuster movies such as the
Harry Potter series, Sleepy Hollow and Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace.
In 2000 Dark was appointed as Managing Director for 3 Mills
Studios charged with the re-establishment, up-grade and marketing
of Central London's largest Studio facility.
Dark has also been responsible for the planning, co-ordination and construction of
a purpose built television studio in Spain including Europe’s largest exterior set. In a remarkable three
months, a 45 acre virgin site was transformed into a complete shooting complex,
including pre and post-production facilities.
At present Dark is overseeing
the management of two Studio facilities
Leavesden Studios and 3 Mills
Studios.
